Your advert boasts of being one of the best places to stay in the Hunter Valley and having seen a few others ( on our special wine tour with Jane), we beg to differ; there is no better place to stay!

We would gladly travel the 12000+ mile to Australia again, and given the choice of where to stay in the Hunter Valley we wouldn't ever stay anywhere else. You both offer somethiing unique, something special. Your cottages are put together with love and foresight.

We noticed this with the small touches such as maps of Trinidad on the wall, undisturbed views between cottages, light airy rooms, fresh coffee and bread and a genuine letter of welcome on arrival ( not to mention understanding when silly foreigners light fires when it is strictly forbidden).

Jane's time spent with us all on our wine trip was such a terrific bonus. We are so very pleased that we came across as 'your type of people' via e-mail as we genuinely feel we would have missed out if we'd not been so superbly looked after by you that day. We felt we saw places we'd have missed and we also received a different reception when at wineries and found we left with a real insight into the workings of the valley and not simpy 'tasted the wine.'

It really was magnificent to sit in the spa pool, toasty and warm, having tasted the most delicious wine we have ever had ( both red and white) stuffed ourselves with Labna cheese ( shame we couldn't bring any home) and rich port and watch the stars sparkling overhead with great sighs of contentment.

Kyle and I are very disappointed that we can't make it back for your sumptious festival of food and wine in May but it is out plan to be back
again within the year ( if pennies permit ) We look forward to having our picutre taken again in near your new cottage but this time when the walls and doors are on.

Thank you for your hospitality. It is unrivalled and you both made us feel so much more than guests.
