From Sydney CBD, cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge heading North and follow signs to Newcastle and North Coast. This will lead you to Pacific Highway.
Follow the Pacific Highway until you reach the National Highway 1 Freeway entrance at Wahroonga. (From Harbour Bridge to National Highway 1 Freeway entrance approx 30 minutes depending on traffic.)

Take the National Highway 1 Freeway north towards Newcastle. Exit the Freeway at the Cessnock / Hunter Valley Vineyards sign. ( Approx 1 hour or 100kms on freeway ).

Go through Freemans Waterhole & follow signs to Cessnock.

Once in Cessnock go to the end of Vincent street, turn left & immediate right into Allandale road.
Go through Nulkaba & just before the Information centre turn right into Lovedale Road. This is on the corner of the golf course.
Follow this road approx 10 km’s until you are past Wilderness Road.
The next turn on the left is Camp Road, and immediately left is Talga Road.
Continue down Talga Road for just under 5 km’s. Manzanilla Ridge is on the right hand side.

ALTERNATE ROUTES - FROM SYDNEY

From Sydney to Hunter Valley Wine Country via Tourist Drive 33 & Wollombi Valley (2.5 hours from Sydney CBD)
Once you are on the National 1 Highway, exit at the Calga Interchange on the Peats Ridge or Tourist Drive 33 sign.
Follow to Peats Ridge, turning left just after the Service Station and follow the signs to Wollombi. A scenic and historic drive along the Great North Rd Convict Trail. No dirt roads are experienced.
Numerous historic convict sites will be seen on this road.
At Wollombi, take the Wollombi Rd and sign to Cessnock and drive through the towns of Millfield, Greta Main and Bellbird.

Once in Cessnock go over the roundabout & turn left at the next set of lights. This is Allandale Road.
Go through Nulkaba & just before the Information centre turn right into Lovedale Road. This is on the corner of the golf course.
